A bunch of mixes in today's look: a vintage blazer/ a Christmas top / and some animal printed sneakers.
I said it before and I will keep saying it, I think that's the power of creating outfits: mixing & matching. Why not put 'old' and 'new' together in one look?
As you might have noticed I did some shoots for Invito, and this is alreayd the third pair of shoes from those shoots. To be honest I think animal print and black - like with this pair of sneakers - are always a slightly dangerous combination, but that's why today I added a light color and a 'Christmas' top. I say Christmass because I simply don't know another word for it: it's not lace and it's not embroidery, it's just cute, if I may say so myself.

A little bit on the Parisian tour with this outfit. Maybe I should try a low knot some time, the hairdo that really screams Paris.
You've seen the jeans (but to me it never gets old) and you've seen the top/bag/jacket, but you haven't seen the shoes! They are from Invito's new collection and I really like the 'masculine-yet-feminine' vibe that they have going on.
So, two styles in this look today: Paris & une touche masculine.

I'm happy Spring is finally here. I'm through with all my winteroutfits, so it was about time!

A loft in midtown Manhattan New York.
If someone would ask me: what's your dream house? Here's your answer.
And ofcourse, a crips white villa in Spain only a one minute walk away from the ocean is a nice follow upper, but right now that dream is still New York.

The thing about lofts:
- They are incredibly spacey. (a minimum of walls seems to be the reason for that)
- Because of the big windows (in almost every loft) you always have enough light.
Plus: a nice view is included if you're up high.
Plus: romantic stargazing is an option when the night falls.
- You can furnish the space anyway you like. To me it looks like it's actually a challenge to just put pieces of furniture in the middle of a room to create little 'spaces'. But there's that word: challenge!

I did some Pinterest-ing and collected the best looking lofts nowadays.
Looking at these pictures makes me want to work real (real) hard, so that one day that dream may come true.

I mentioned earlier, in this post, that I maybe wanted to get myself some Dr Martens boots after visiting their store in Amsterdam last week. And I did.
So yes, these big black 'army' boots are now mine. Some are already a fan, some (read: my mum and roomies) are not going to be a fan ever, but I think it's safe to say that these types of boots are the ones you need to get used to.
Yes they are big and yes I too used to think about the army the instand I saw them, but I kind of like the bad gal Riri vibe they have going on.

I went for the all black ones because black simply always is the safer option.

One important note: I do think these boots should only be worn with a very girly outfit - in my case, that is. That's why today I styled them with a blouse and a colorful fur. How about a skirt next time?

Last Thursday I went to the #uprdigitalseeds event. It was a day that started early, my alarm clock went off at 8 o'clock in the morning. Then I was off to Amsterdam, to join the shopping tour Unlimited PR had in store for us.

Seven brands participated in this event, to show us their new spring/summer 2015 collections.
In this post I will take you on the same tour that I had last Thursday.
The sun was shining, the croud was fun to hangout with and Amsterdam was as lovely as it always is!

Morrrrning! Wearing a lot of striking items today. The darker versions of blue, green & red are always a better option in my opinion, and as it turns out they all look good together in one outfit as well.
And yes, I'm wearing this scarf again, but It's still a favorite and pretty soon I won't be able to wear it anymore because spring is just around the corner. And I'm happy about that!

Last week I attented the Sacha est. 1909 sneaker launch in Amsterdam.
A whole bunch of cool new sneakers and I'm very happy with the ones I choose: semi-high, sporty & made out of firm leather.

I'm have to run because I'm off to Amsterdam again, let me know what you think about these colors together and if you checked out the new Sacha sneaker collection already!

I think there has never been a better combination than leather on denim. And in this look I'm not talking about the jeans and the jacket, but about the jacket and the jacket.
Spring is coming, weather winter wants to let us go or not. It's still pretty cold outside butI thought it was time to do some layering, instead of wearing a wintercoat again.
A casual outfit was the outcome, perfect for Saturdays like these: watching a serie, getting flowers at the market & going to a b-day party.

This Daniel Wellington watch is my latest addition and it has been on my wrist ever since the mailman delivered it last week. I love the white and blue wristband with the rosé gold timepiece.
Eventhough it's a pretty special design, I think it's timeless and it can be worn with any outfit.

London is technically a 1 hour flight away from Amsterdam.

I still don't really know why I've never been there before, eventhough it's so close.

I hear it's a magical city, so maybe it should be on top of my 'to do citytrips-list'.

(I do not have a list like that but I should)

Anyway, two weeks ago it was London who experienced the fashion madness, and last week it was Milan's turn. And just like I did with New York, here are the highlights of both cities!

Eventhough it's not a wearable collection - at all - Moschino was the show we all talked about. Jeremy Scott always knows how to surprise us and it's always fun to watch.

Doutzen opened the Fendi show, and eventhough she looks a bit scary in this particular pic, she is a stunner. And besides that, I'm automatically a fan because she is a Dutchie too.

BIG love for both these collections. Very opposites collections - Topshop very feminine and Sass & Bide very black and bold - but I would want to have both collections hanging in my closet right now!
